Description
The study of spatial distribution of historical villages is the basis for understanding historical villages. This study takes historical villages in Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture as the research object of spatial distribution, aiming to deeply analyze their distribution characteristics and influencing factors, and provide a scientific basis for the protection planning of historical villages. The study adopts GIS spatial analysis method to systematically analyze the spatial distribution type, spatial auto-correlation, distribution density, distribution direction of historical villages, and the spatial relationship with factors such as rivers and traffic locations, and explores the influence of natural factors and humanistic and social factors on their distribution. The results show that under the interaction of multiple factors such as natural environment, topography, rivers, ethnic culture, patriarchal rituals, economy and trade, historical villages in Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture show a cohesive distribution characteristic, and form three main types of village clusters: cluster aggregation type, river series type and mountain discrete type. These three cluster types are further subdivided into two types of spatial distribution patterns: dependent type and supporting type, and the same or two types of patterns are combined and distributed in the form of cross, parallel and inclusion. Within the cluster, the distribution characteristics of villages are as follows: distributed in groups around mountains; distributed linearly along the main stream of the Yellow River (Jianzha section); distributed in strips along the Longwu River; distributed in strips along rivers and linearly along traffic arteries. The research conclusion points out that cluster distribution is a universal law of spatial distribution of historical villages. Through an in-depth analysis of the spatial distribution characteristics of historical villages in Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture and their influencing factors, guiding suggestions are provided for the implementation of the concentrated and contiguous protection plan for historical villages in the region, and a demonstration role can be used for reference for the concentrated and contiguous protection plan of villages in other similar regions.
