Description
Qinghai province, located in the west of China, is the birthplace of the Yangtze, Yellow and Lancang rivers. With a rich river system in the provincial space, it is an important ecological barrier in China, and undertakes the important missions and tasks of water conservation, species diversity, and soil and water conservation. At present, relevant studies and practices at home and abroad mostly delimit ecological function zones by administrative boundaries, which reduces the coordination and unity of ecological space function. The natural watershed space formed by the enclosure of river system is an important spatial carrier to maintain ecological balance, species migration and energy flow. Therefore, this paper takes Qinghai Province as the research object and uses the hydrological analysis in GIS platform to complete the adjustment and classification of the current river system, so as to complete the basic unit delineation of the basin. According to the ecological characteristics and development needs of Qinghai Province, the ecological functions of water conservation, species diversity, windbreak and sand fixation, soil and water conservation, and carbon fixation and oxygen release were selected for integrated evaluation, and the results were spatial overlapped with the basic unit of the basin, so as to clarify the ecological dominant function of the basic unit in each basin. On this basis, the adjacent basin units with consistent functions should be merged, so as to complete the zoning of the ecological space in Qinghai Province from the perspective of the basin, and the corresponding control requirements should be put forward according to the functions of the ecological units in various basins, so as to promote the suitable protection and high-quality development of the ecological space in Qinghai Province.
